Chava Hudson

Chava Hudson, an artist, writer (www.chavaniceday.com) , and a web designer (www.chavahudsondesign.com) from Beverly, MA, often works with photos of colored glass, which she shoots in gallery windows and slices and weaves the photos digitally into landscapes. Some are "painted", that is actually stroked with a digital brush in Painter, and some are printed and painted with real paint. Prints are archival, and on a high quality paper. Prints are limited editions and the painted pieces are one-of-a-kind.

Hudson has exhibited her work in galleries in the Boston area since the 1990's. she designed and manufactured her own line of polar fleece outerwear and distributed her creations to finer boutiques across the country. Returning to Graphic Design in 1999, she immersed herself in digital media. Chava also began producing artwork again, only this time with technology, using Painter and Photoshop. The process doesn't stop there, since she hand paints each print with acrylics and works into them with colored pencils, marrying modern technology with traditional media. She has taught various aspects of digital media at Endicott College and Northern Essex Community College. Her work is in many corporate and private collections.
